When the killing is taking place a dark/dull and gloomy lighting style would be used to give the feeling of something bad happening and to create suspense.
When the flashbacks are taking place a brown/yellow or black and white style would be used to let viewers know its in the past.
Throughout the chase a very strong and sharp style of lighting would be used to grab the viewers attention.
